Suit and tie guide - Coordinating Autumn colours

As we get into the last quarter of the year, we are seeing Autumn colours begin to make an appearance on the trees and in fashion. This season boasts shades of Moss green and camel, with nostalgia and printed shirts also making a comeback. But how can you make a statement at formal events this month without being too daring?

Although bright colours are undoubtedly eye catching, more muted tones can still look trendy and give any simple look that much needed lift. Just adding a classic tie or bow tie can show people you know how to match your outfit to this season's trends.

Autumn suits

For Black suits - Plum and Navy are great timeless options that will stand out great against a white shirt.

For Grey suits - Try Burgundy or Coffee colored ties for a warm touch of colour, or why not try incorporating Moss Green for a unique twist?

If you are a guest at a wedding, go with a classic or bow style tie. For grooms and groomsmen we recommend a classy ruche which Youngs Hire hire offer in the same Autumnal shades.

Ruche

Finding the right suit depends on the occasion, for weddings, a contemporary tweed check is subtle way to wear prints without upstaging the groom.
